Bethesda Relief International, Inc. is a Christian organization focused on showing the love of Jesus by following his example to care for those less fortunate, including orphans and widows with children.

We work with Bethesda Relief Services, a local charity in the Democratic Republic of Congo, run by Bishop John Bofata, pictured to the left.

When complete, the Wisconsin school will hold 800 students at one time. The school will be able to provide both elementary and secondary education including up to 200 orphans under Bishop John's care.

The school will be built in surrounding area of the capital city of Kinshasa, DR Congo.  The school location itself is approximately 45 minutes from downtown Kinshasa, and is located in the countryside hills surrounding the city.  When visiting the building site, we saw several families living nearby and people were anxious to see construction continue so they could have gainful employment.

Forty orphans count on Bishop John for food, medical supplies, tuition, clothing, and housing throughout the course of each month.

Pictured here, Margaret, a caregiver and widow who cares for 9 of the orphans along with some other women providing help.  Margaret has raised 3 children of her own, and continues to help those in need.
